Setting up Wi-Fi on your BlackBerry takes just a few simple steps -
1 On the home screen, click the Manage Connections
icon.
2 Click Set Up Wi-Fi
3 Select one of the following:
Click Scan for Networks. Click a network.
Click Manually Add Network. Type the network name. Click Add.
4 You’ll be prompted to save a profile for the Wi-Fi network, click Next so your phone connects to the Wi-Fi network automatically next time.
5 Handheld software v5.0 and earlier Wi-Fi devices – Select browser then bookmarks and then select Wi-Fi HotSpot Login under the folder Wi-Fi Services.
6 Handheld software v6.0 and later Wi-Fi devices – The device will automatically detect the Wi-Fi hotspot login if it is present.
7 To complete the Wi-Fi connection setup, click Finish.
If your email account uses a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, your organization might prevent you from connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
